Thursday, July 11, 2024 Cast Away 2:00pm - 3:00pm Registration closed. About this Adventure Have you ever wondered what in the world fishermen are looking to bring in with those giant nets they’re tossing? During this intro kids will not only learn just what’s in that net, but by the end they’ll be throwing one themself. We’ll kick things off on the beach to learn the basics from what it means to throw a doughnut (not a banana) to how to load the net. Just like when you’re fishing, you never know what we might come up with next, but chances are we’ll bring in a bunch of unique sea creatures that are too small to catch with a rod and reel. There’s even much to be learned and discovered from the seaweed, and the smallest creatures that call it home! This class is recommended kids ages 8+.
