Meet the Team

Captain Rob Hansill is a Florida native and a retired US Marine. He holds a Masters endorsement on his Merchant Mariner Credential and is certified by The United States Coast Guard National Maritime Center. He and his wife of 29 years, Cindy, moved to Niceville in 2016. They have two sons. The Hansill’s are actively involved in serving their community and supporting their church. Rob started his own fishing charter company in January 2018 after realizing that his passion, ministry, and career could be wrapped up into one mission: making memories and changing lives. He takes an average of 250 bookings per year, equating to about 1,200 anglers. Rob is especially passionate about helping people find their joy and manage grief. Only one day on the water can break a cycle of sadness. There are no coincidences. Hundreds of families touched by tragedy, cancer survivors, and wounded veterans have all made new memories aboard "at EASE”. Captain Rob founded Get HooK'd Academy in April 2020 with a mission to teach kids the skills of fishing. This year marks the fourth season. In three years, 96 graduates ranging from ages 5-13 are now "HooK'd for life" on fishing. Not only are these kids confident anglers, they are good stewards, good neighbors, and future leaders in our community.
