About this Adventure

It’s time to take a step further for a closer look underwater while snorkeling. Before diving in, it’s important to know the basics. We’ll walk through snorkeling basics from safety signals, to what a dive flag means, and how to properly fit and use equipment best. Throughout the hour kids will even pick up tips on how to keep water out of their mask, what to do if water gets in the snorkel (remember it’s not a straw), and review how to use fins safely. Once in the water we’ll practice special ways to float and breathe, gliding above the surface spotting all kinds of cool bait fish, sand dollars, and maybe even some larger species like a sea turtle!
