Meet the Team

Having grown up along the Emerald Coast, Peyton Macarenco has a passion for our beaches and coastal wildlife. Peyton has experience in both formal and informal science education. She has taught environmental and marine science at the high school level, worked as the education coordinator for the Stella Maris Environmental Research group, served as an education volunteer for Brevard County Zoo, and conducted green sea turtle research at the University of Florida. Peyton is very excited to be conducting the Sea Creatures program at Crystal Beach with the Emerald Coast Science Center this summer.
