Meet the Team

The team at Gulf Coast Surf School are lifelong, avid surfers who grew up locally on the water's edge. Instructor AC Cold was raised on the Gulf of Mexico, and began surfing when he was only 4 years old! He is deeply passionate about sharing the joy he still experiences each time with kids - inviting them into a whole new world to explore together. Alongside teaching the technical skills, he is equally committed to helping everyone try something brand new in a welcoming, non-intimidating way. Even falling with AC can be fun and he’ll be right there to get kids back up. Whether everyone walks away having caught their first wave, paddled out for the first time, or even spotted a fish they’ve never encountered, this intro will leave them with a sense of accomplishment for having tried and a newfound appreciation for the magic of waves
