About this Adventure

Build the confidence to go from paddling, to extending, to popping up and riding in your first wave! With your Adventure Expert by your side, you will be on your way to conquering the lingo and the waves. This 75-minute introduction begins with reviewing safety and the basics from wave formation to establishing a drift game plan together based on current. Next up you’ll work on the fundamentals to start building your surfing skills on the beach like how to use your back foot as a brake, and even where your arms should go to help you balance. The Gulf’s calm, clear water provides a perfect setting for you to get a feel for the waves, ride a few in, and even spot some sea life along the way.

This class is recommended for kids ages 10+.
